About this Course:
This one-hour class will introduce case management staff and those responsible for completing or participating in Peer Record Reviews to the process, including individual roles and responsibilities, the tool, and the procedure.
Who should attend:
· All new Child Welfare Specialists, Child Welfare Supervisors, Assistant Directors, and/or Directors of Programs and Services
· Any Child Welfare Specialists, Child Welfare Supervisors, Assistant Directors, and/or Directors of Programs and Services who have not completed training
· All Quality Improvement staff
Learning Objectives:
· Increase the understanding of the value and benefit of the Peer Record Review process as a mechanism for improving outcomes for children and families;
· Convey an understanding of individual responsibilities for quarterly Peer Record Reviews;
· Demonstrate correct use of the Peer Record Review worksheet; and
· Address any concerns or points of confusion related to the Peer Record Review process.
Important Reminders:
· Training will start promptly at 10:00 am and participants should be in attendance for the entirety of the training.
